The harsh sunlight, which burns colors and exaggerates contrasts, is the “great enemy” of photography in the woods.
For this reason, diffused light from clouds, which is softer and more friendly, is generally needed.
But when the sun sinks toward the horizon and its rays filter through the canopies, very interesting situations can arise.
