I had long dreamed of visiting the Speulderbos forest in the Netherlands in autumn, when the foliage sets the woods ablaze with color.
Known as “the forest of dancing trees”, I expected to find a lovely beech forest, with a few graceful trunks and some interesting views, but nothing more.
To my surprise, I found myself instead in an enchanted woodland, where every glance stirs a sense of wonder and fills both eyes and soul with quiet joy.
