This is an &#8220;in camera&#8221; double exposure picture (same time &#8211; same place, no post production merge) in which the typical white stains on the bark of a beech (first shot &#8211; close up), &#8220;become&#8221; snow flakes falling from the sky when overlapped on the second shot of the surrounding snowy forest, in Lessinia, taken with intentional vertical camera movement.</br>
With this technique the results are not easy to predict and control, so it took me several attempts to get a decent shot.
