Here in Italy there is a Christmas cake called “Pandoro”, which could be translated as “golden bread”.
It is typically served covered in powdered sugar.
When these Dolomite peaks, called Pale di San Martino, are set on fire by the sunset light in winter, it seems to be facing immense and very sweet “Pandori”.
