After too many months of unwanted and prolonged photographic inactivity, and despite uncertain weather forecasts, last week I treated myself to a mountain hike into the Dolomites I had been wanting to do for a long time.
Out of shape and loaded like a mule, I still managed to reach a scenic viewpoint that rewarded me with this beautiful view of Cima d’Ambrizzola on the left and Becco di Mezzodì on the right.
The heavy clouds on the horizon and the light growing warmer as sunset approached made the atmosphere enchanting.
